Wedding Centerpieces
Wedding centerpieces are the talk of the party by girls at each table. You can have flower arrangements, candle arrangements, candy arrangements, fruit arrangements or the like. Your wedding centerpieces should be a reflection of you and your fiancée as a couple. Are you avid tennis fans? Then maybe you want to fill a tall hurricane vase with tennis ball and top it with silk hydrangeas. The possibilities are endless for creating beautiful wedding centerpieces.
Wedding reception centerpieces have traditionally been flower arrangements of either the high or low variety. However, the new trend in weddings is to do wedding centerpieces with no flowers at all. A wedding table centerpiece can do double duty for you if you decide to stack all the individually wrapped party favors in an architecturally pleasing tower in the middle of the table. Wedding centerpieces can be many different cakes or cookies placed on the center of the table to treat all the guests will a sweet tooth. Many modern wedding centerpieces are now small potted plants encouraging guests to go home and plant them and do something green for the earth. You could also have rectangular tables and have no centerpieces at all.
Your wedding centerpieces may reflect on the time of day of the reception. If you are having an afternoon wedding reception on the beach then put a bowl of sunglasses on the table as your centerpiece and encourages all your guests to shade their crying eyes. If you are having a night wedding then you could put an array of different height candles as your wedding centerpieces all glowing in the moonlight. Also, if you have an afternoon wedding then your wedding centerpieces may be less formal then the wedding centerpieces required for a five course meal served at eight in the evening.
Every season you will find new wedding centerpieces on the cover of many bridal magazines to spark your interest and give you great ideas. Keep your budget in mind when you get to the design stage because some simple flower arrangements may cost upwards or eighty dollars a table while a more modern bowl of apples in a hurricane vase may only run twenty dollars a table. If you do find very expensive wedding centerpieces you can not fathom including in your budget but love then you should ask a creative friend if they could make your centerpieces for you for less. You will know the right centerpieces when you see them.
